About the Artist

Tamara Brantmeier is an artist living in St. Paul, Minnesota.

She is past recipient of the Jerome Artist Fellowship, the Jerome Travel Grant, Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, and has been selected for several residency awards such as the Blacklock Nature Sanctuary Residency, the New York Mills Residency, and recently a Grand Marais Artist Colony residency (Hazel Belvo scholarship).

Over the past 25 years, she has exhibited in several group and solo shows including the Kellie Rae Theiss Gallery, MCAD Gallery, Furlong Gallery, Art@967 Payne Gallery, Solidarity Street Gallery, Phipps Center for the Arts, and Intermedia Arts.

Tamara is a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Stout where she teaches drawing and painting at all levels.
